BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport launched with price starting from INR 97.9

BMW has introduced an all-new top model of its five-seater luxury X5 SUV and the new variant is expected to include some minor cosmetic changes. Basically, it’s more or less similar to the previous top-of-the-range xLine model and that’s the only reason why it’s also important.

The German automaker has confirmed that the upgraded X5 xDrive 30d M Sport variant will lead buyers to Rs. 97.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). In this way, it is Rs.3 Lakh more expensive than the outgoing xLine series.

What has everything changed?

The M Sport variant now comes with an all-new kit that includes, among other things, a reworked bumper, various M badges, edition-specific brake calipers, exhaust pipes and an eccentric key.

Also, unlike the SportX Plus model, this one comes with additional features including paddle shifters, BMW’s Laserlight, edition-specific steering wheel cover, head-up display, 360 camera degrees, a leather interior and 20-inch alloy wheels. . To improve the exterior, the SUV gets three new color options, namely – Mineral White, Pythonic Black and Pythonic Blue.

Even on the all-new X5 xDrive 30d M Sport model, BMW opted to continue selling the 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system. For the interior it is now finished with a choice of upholstery which includes, Ivory White/Black, Black/Black and Coffee/Black to enhance the interior feel.

What stays the same?

A powerful 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, which is listed on the spec sheet, produces 265 horsepower and 620 Nm of peak torque and is also known to power the new xDrive 30d M Sport. The eight-speed automatic transmission with four-wheel power distribution remains an option for the premium SUV. As a result, it can now reach triple-digit speed in just 5.5 seconds in performance.
