Larson Set for Brad Doty Classic

ATTICA, Ohio — NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson will look to add his second Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic sprint car title presented by Racing Optics to his long list of sprint car accomplishments.
The 34th annual BDC will visit Attica Raceway Park on Tuesday, July 12.
This year will mark the 17th time the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will sanction the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic presented by Racing Optics and this year the winner will take home $15,000 – an increase of $5,000 over 2021.
There have been 25 different winners in the 31 contested Brad Doty Classic features (2 were eliminated). Spencer Bayston has won the 2021 Brad Doty Classic, his first World of Outlaws victory.
Larson won his first BDC title of 2020, but he’ll have his hands full with the stars of the outlaw world and Attica’s tough weekly contestants.
In addition to the $15,000 payday to the winner, Attica Raceway Park offers incentives to its weekly competitors. The top 15 points on the track after the July 8 event are eligible for the following bonuses: If one of the top 15 points wins the feature, there is a $2,000 bonus. A
Additionally, the top A-hand finisher who is in the top 15 in lane points will receive a $1,000 bonus. Additionally, any driver who is in the top 15 in track points after July 8 and has not competed in 2022 with the World of Outlaws; the track will pay that driver’s series membership fee.
The BDC is co-promoted by Attica Raceway Park and the event’s namesake, Brad Doty, an Ohio native and national sprint car hall of fame who was a fan favorite from coast to coast. until he was injured in a sprint car in 1988.
Larson won the World of Outlaws race in Attica in May.
