Salem, Ind. – It was twice as good a day for Georgia driver Casey Roderick at Salem Speedway.

Roderick won both 100-lap events for the Super Series Champion Racing Association and the JEGS All Stars Tour on Sunday.

Roderick set a fast time for both events, and in the super late model race he started fourth in the pack after the inversion.

He led the final 88 laps, pulling away from the field at the finish, gaining nearly 9 seconds over second-placed Cody Coughlin.

“The team gave me one hell of a race car,” Roderick said in victory lane. “Short track racing is where it is right now.”

Hunter Jack led the first 11 laps before being passed by Roderick with an inside move entering turn three. Jack would retire shortly after being passed for the lead due to a transmission problem.

Roderick was chased early in the race by Dalton Armstrong and Tommy St. John.

Armstrong was able to stay a consistent distance behind Roderick, but was never able to fight for the lead in the first half of the 100 lap streak.

Cody Coughlin took third from St. John after a 28th lap restart.

Roderick pulled away from the competition near the halfway point opening a 3 second lead over Armstrong with a close battle for second place with Coughlin, St. John and Jordan Riddick.

Coughlin took second on lap 59 with an inside pass from Armstrong entering the first corner.

The end:

Feature (100 laps): 1) Casey Roderick; 2) Cody Coughlin; 3) Dalton Armstrong; 4) Jordan Riddick; 5) Tommy St. John; 6) Eddie VanMeter; 7) Billy VanMeter; 8) Albert Francois; 9) Hunter Jack
