Scarborough claims its first airborne victory

PLATTSBURGH, NY – Jake Scarborough made his game-winning pass on round 11 of the J&S Steel Sportsman 25-lap event at Airborne Speedway.

The feature went green for the ladies which helped Scarborough take a huge lead in the field. In the closing laps, however, Michael Wright was in shock at Scarborough, but ran out of time and settled for second place. Tanner Forbes, Travis Bruno and Joey Scarborough complete the top five.

Tylor Terry had his #44 car on a rail at the Hartson Total Opening event. Terry was dominant in his third win of the year, as he took advantage of his starting position in the front row to run away from the field. Richie Turner battled on the outside furrow to finish second, while Tyler Irwin rounded out the podium. Jason Bogett and Josh Terry finished fourth and fifth respectively.

The Taylor Rental Street Stock division competed in a 15-lap event and Nick Harnden took everyone to class. Harnden plugged his car in wherever he put it on the track and took his second win of the season.

Bill Doner navigated traffic to finish second and Greg Zindler Jr. finished third. The Tourville duo of Caleb and Kenny completed the top five.

Scott Fitzgerald picked up his first Northern Blacktopping Limited Sportsman of the Year victory. Tony Arquette and Parker Dermody complete the podium.
